Deborah Maury, an attorney and former board-certified Social Security Specialist, graduated from University of Maryland Law School and has been admitted to the Bars of Maryland and North Carolina. Since 1982 when she began in NC, Debbie has increasingly focused on helping Social Security claimants, working at all administrative levels and in federal court.  She was a charter member of the NC Bar's Social Security Specialization Committee and the Social Security Section of the Academy of Trial Lawyers (now NCAJ).

Debbie suffered a serious injury in 2014 leaving her in a wheelchair.  However, she has undergone recent training to update her knowledge of the ever-changing Social Security field, been readmitted to active NC Bar status, and is anxious to resume work.  Her personal understanding of difficulties facing claimants along with her passion and years of experience in the field make her the perfect advocate to assist with your claim.
